In her current position as the Assistant Director of the Kogod Center for Business Communications at American University's Kogod School of Business, Shenandoah helps AU's business students become better writers and more effective public speakers. In addition, she is a seasoned public speaking coach and offers over a decade of experience in proofreading, editing, and manuscript consulting services.
Shenandoah has taught classes in poetry, 20th-century American literature, women's literature, academic writing, business writing, public speaking, creativity, creative nonfiction, academic research, and film studies. She has worked with students at the elementary, secondary, collegiate and adult levels.
