Shenandoah has taught everything from poetry, literature, creative nonfiction, and academic writing to business writing, public speaking, and film studies. She's worked with students at the elementary, secondary, collegiate, and adult levels and has taught at American University, the University of Maryland, Century College, and the ACORN High School for Social Justice.
